Saudi Arabia: A significant offer for Cristiano Ronaldo to transfer to Saudi Arabia is currently on the table. Al-Nassr is prepared to offer him a 3-and-a-half-year deal for $119 million (Β£100 million) per year. While he is in Qatar, Ronaldo, 37, has asked that discussions about his future in club football be avoided by his representatives.
Chelsea: Earlier this summer there were already rumours that United's English Premier League rivals Chelsea are interested in him. However, former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was not interested in him but he has been sacked now. Following Graham Potter's rough start at Stamford Bridge, Todd Boehly's ownership group may find the concept appealing once again.
