Team India completely whitewashed the visitors in the ODI and now both teams are ready to meet face-to-face in the T20 format. IND vs NZ 1st T20 will take place on 27th January at JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi.
Team India will be confident enough to repeat similar results as the ODI format but New Zealand will be all prepared to face any kind of challenge posed by Men in Blue. When it comes to odds – top bookmakers in India have kept India as favourite to win this series as well.
The Indian squad displayed brilliance in batting in the ODI format. The team looked like a complete set of players who are on the field to win matches and overcome any kind of challenge on the ground.

According to BCCI and the selection committee, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma won’t be part of the T20 format and to replace them there will be a lot of fresh faces in the team. The squad will be under the leadership of Hardik Pandya who has generated positive results in recent games. In a surprise move, Prithvi Shaw has made his comeback to the national side and he is expected to make his appearance.
Prithvi Shaw and Rahul Tripathi are expected to be named in the starting XI in the first T20 fixture. This is how IND could line-up:

After defeating Pakistan on the Pakistani pitches, New Zealand was confident enough to face team India but things have not gone as planned. Finn Allen and Devon Conway will be expected to do a better job in the T20 format after their disappointing innings in the ODI format. Tim Southee and Trent Boult are not available to be part of the T20 series and hence Lockie Ferguson will be under pressure to do their job.
