Batters did a good job but the bowlers turned out to be a major disappointment. After getting two early wickets, West Indies bowlers were unable to break the partnerships and became the primary reason for losing the match.

On the batting front, the opening partnership of Gill and Jaiswal was broken at an early stage but Suryakumar Yadav handled the situation well and scored 83 off 44 at a strike rate of 188.64. Tilak Varma played a match-winning inning and scored 49 off 37 balls at a strike rate of 132.43.
We might see Avesh Khan back again in the squad for the 4th T20.
