Not having been able to leave their mark on the tournament yet, Welsh Fire and Southern Brave will compete against each other in a very important match for both of these teams in The Hundred Men’s 2023. This will be the 17th match of the tournament and the fifth for each of these teams.
As it stands, Welsh Fire sits in fourth place in the points table (three points in three matches), whereas Southern Brave are in sixth place. Considering the English weather and how much of a hindrance it creates in matches and affects the future of the teams in the tournament, this becomes a virtual do-or-die encounter for Welsh Fire and Southern Brave. The top bookmakers in India have quality odds with them.
The game will be played at the very beautiful Sophia Gardens Stadium in Cardiff. Unfortunately, the weather forecast for the match does not look good, and it is highly unlikely that we will witness a full match of two 100-ball innings. Nevertheless, some interesting mini-battles, such as Luke Wells vs. Rehan Ahmed and James Vince vs. Shaheen Shah Afridi, will be on offer if the weather permits. It is going to be a mouth-watering contest between the pace bowling of the Welsh Fire and the top-order batting of the Southern Brave.

Chris Jordan, the hero of the team in their second match, has been ruled out of the league for at least a week due to injury. He was replaced by Joe Weatherley in the previous match, and we expect him to keep his place in the team along with the other players.
They are clearly missing the services of Jofra Archer, but there is not much the franchise can do.

This is going to be a reverse fixture in this tournament, as these two teams previously met in match 5 of the tournament in Southampton. The home team, the Southern Brave, prevailed in that match courtesy of a Chris Jordan special. This match is going to be a thriller, but we predict the home team, Welsh Fire, to beat Southern Brave in this match.
