There is some good news for family, friends, and fans of Rishabh Pant as Team India's player is doing much better since he met with a horror accident on Friday last week.
Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) Director Shyam Sharma revealed that the left-handed batter is out of the intensive care unit (ICU) and has been shifted to the private suite.

“Due to fear of infection, we have told his family and hospital administration to shift him to a private suite. He is doing better and will recover soon,” said Sharma to ANI.
“Those who are going to meet Pant should avoid, as there are chances of infection. There should be no VIP movement to meet Pant, and people visiting him should avoid it as there are chances of infection for Pant,” Sharma told over the phone.
Pant's car collided with a road divider last week while he was travelling from Delhi to Roorkee to visit his family. Even when the car caught fire, he miraculously escaped without serious injuries.
His injuries include two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, a toe injury, and injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and back, according to a statement released by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) and Max Hospital Dehradun where he is being treated.

“What happened is very unfortunate, no one has control over it. As a team we wish him all the best, our love and prayers are always with him,” Hardik Pandya, India's captain for the T20I series against Sri Lanka which starts on Tuesday, told reporters.
“Wish him a speedy recovery. Obviously, he was a very important part of the team, now everyone knows the situation, and a lot of other people can get opportunities.
“Yes, Pant, if he was also there, he would have made a big difference because of the player he is, but now he is not there so we can't control it. We will see what the future holds for us.“
