The Indian cricket team has a history of giving chances to young players, especially those who have shown promise and talent at the domestic and youth levels. India has a robust domestic cricket structure with various tournaments and age-group competitions, which helps in identifying and nurturing young talents.
The frequency of giving opportunities to young players in the Indian cricket team depends on various factors, including the team's requirements, the form and fitness of senior players, and the selectors' vision for the future. Generally, the Indian cricket team management has been proactive in introducing young players into the squad when they perform well consistently and demonstrate the potential to succeed at the international level.
Many prominent Indian cricketers have made their debut at a relatively young age and have gone on to become legends of the game. In recent times, two of the most promising young cricketers, Yashaswi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma, have made their debut for the senior team.
