West Indies vs Australia 4th T20 2021 is a dead rubber in some respects. West Indies has already won the series and Australia has nothing much to play for. This is a T20 World Cup year though and this is why the teams are not going to taking anything easy just yet. Every win is going to help the teams get closer to their final playing eleven. It looks likely that some of the fringe players of the squad are going to get a chance to be able to play from both sides.

West Indies vs Australia 4th T20 2021
Teams’ strengths & weaknesses
West Indies chased down 140 in just under 15 overs and showed why its biggest strength is power-hitting. There are so many strong players in the team that any one of them can make a match-winning contribution. There is no team in the world that can match the West Indies when it comes to power in the batting lineup. There may not appear to be any weaknesses in the team right now but that is never the case.
A lack of agility in the field by some of the senior players as well as the absence of a settled pace-bowling unit are some of the weaknesses that West Indies has to work with.
For Australia, this series has been an eye-opener. Without Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis in the team, they just do not have the power to get the big overs at the end. That is not a problem that is easily solvable and Australia could continue to struggle in that aspect during this series.
Australia's strength has to be its fast bowling unit. The addition of Rilee Meridith made a big impact immediately and even Mitchell Starc came back into form. There is a very good chance that Australia's bowling unit has a good outing in the next two matches.
Players in form
Chris Gayle roared back into form with a bruising inning. He is a player that can make the most of his form and now that he has some runs under his belt, he could be hard to stop. Nicholas Pooran also scored a vital 50 in the previous match. Pooran has been in the middle of a long run of poor scores and could finally be coming out of the other side.
Australia does not have too many players in good form otherwise it would not be losing 3-0. That being said, we think Mitchell Marsh and Josh Hazelwood are easily two of its best performers. Marsh has scored two fifties and Hazelwood has been the most difficult bowler to score off in this series.
The conditions for this match are expected to be nice and sunny. All of the matches have been played without any reduction in overs so far and that is the hope for this match as well.
- Chris Gayle became the first person to score over 14000 runs in T20's in the previous match
- West Indies has been excellent at the death and has allowed Australia to hit just two sixes total in the entire series (16-20 overs)
- Australia's Mitchell Starc came back strongly from his worst ever figures in the previous match but he has a total of one wicket in the entire series
West Indies has a strong team but it is probably going to be taking some extra chances and making changes to give some youngsters a chance. That means it could make some mistakes and end up giving Australia a chance. Australia has not won a single match so far but it still has some very talented players that can make a difference in West Indies vs Australia 4th T20 2021.
Winner: Australia (2.05)
