Action in the Group G of the ongoing FIFA World Cup will get underway on Thursday when Switzerland and Cameroon face off in Al Wakrah. Both the teams are seen as underdogs of the group along with Serbia. Favourites Brazil are the fourth team and the group and are predicted to go to the knockout stages as the group winners.

The CAF qualifying group that contained Côte d'Ivoire was won by Cameroon. They have, however, performed poorly in their most recent friendly, losing to South Korea and Uzbekistan. They failed to score on both occasions.
Although Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa of Napoli is not at full strength going into the competition, he may still be risked keeping his quality in mind. Vincent Aboubakar and Erik Choupo-Moting will be key figures as well with the latter spearheading an attack that will need to be able to keep up with Switzerland and others going forward in the tournament.
